Hella Good Records is a division of Bad Ass Music, Inc. based in Los Angeles. The label was created by producers, music supervisors, and composers as an easy one-stop licensing catalog that is beneficial to both independent artists and business professionals.
Is your music easy to license?
Yes. We control 100% of the synch and master rights making the songs in our catalog an easy one-stop solution. Contact our licensing agents when you want to license a song. Visit our supervisors page for more information. HGR has licensing agents around the world. Please contact us if you are located outside of the U.S. and would like to license music.
What are your rates?
Our synch fees are flexible to fit your clearance needs and budget. Contact our licensing agents for a quote.
Who are your clients?
Hella Good Records works with every major network and film studio including Warner Bros., THE CW, CBS, MTV, Fox, Miramax, Disney, Paramount, Lionsgate, Sony, and many more. We also work directly with independent music supervisors, ad agencies and trailer houses as well as non-broadcast companies.
Can I submit my music for possible inclusion in the Hella Good catalog?
Absolutely, we are always scouting for new artists but we do not sign everyone. Please don't take it personally if you are not signed to HGR. View our Contact page for more submission details. TIP: You will be more seriously considered if you have instrumental versions of your songs so let us know.

Are Hella Good bands willing to appear on camera?
Most of our bands are on tour and willing to adjust their schedules to appear live on camera. CONTACT US and we'll be glad to set that up for you.
